Note:

Requirements:

5. If the seaman is travelling to the Philippines to join a ship, the company concerned should provide a letter indicating the name of the vessel he will be joining in the Philippines.

Afghan nationals need a visa and can only apply at the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan.

These nationals may apply for a visa only from their country of origin or place of legal residence. For those
who are qualified to apply, the following are the visa requirements:

1) Duly accomplished and signed visa application form;

2) Original and photocopy of the passport data page and Malaysian visa valid for at least six (6) months;

3) Malaysian Company letter (for holders of Employment Pass);

4) Malaysian School Certification (for holders of Student Pass);

5) Letter of Invitation from the Philippine Company (for business purposes);

6) Letter of Invitation from the inviting person in the Philippines supported by a copy of the passport or ID with signature of the inviting person, if applicable (for tourism purposes);

7) Certificate of No Derogatory Record issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Putrajaya;

8) Bank Statements (should be in English and applicable for tourism purposes only);

9) Copy of the roundtrip flight booking or itinerary (Do not purchase the flight ticket before applying for the visa, but make a “booking” or “flight itinerary”. Purchase the flight ticket only after the visa is granted);

10) Copy of the Hotel Booking;

11) One (1) recent colored photograph sized (1.77” x 1.37”); and

12) Other documentary requirements as may be requested by the Visa Officer upon interview of the applicant and assessment of the application.

Indian nationals who wish to visit the Philippines FOR TOURISM PURPOSES ONLY may be granted visa-free entry into the Philippines for an initial authorized stay of fourteen (14) days provided they have a valid and current American, Japanese, Australian, Canadian, Schengen, Singapore or United Kingdom visa. However, it is not a guarantee that the holder will be admitted into the country as the admission of aliens is a function of the immigration officer at the port of entry.

Chinese nationals may apply for a visa at any Philippine Foreign Service Post. The following are the visa requirements:

1) Two (2) Original duly accomplished and signed visa application forms;

2) Original and photocopy of the passport data page and Malaysian visa (if applicable);

3) Malaysian Company letter (for holders of Employment Pass);

4) Malaysian School Certification (for holders of Student Pass);

5) Letter of Invitation from the Philippine Company (for business purposes);

6) Letter of Invitation from the inviting person in the Philippines supported by a copy of the passport or ID with signature of the inviting person, if applicable (for tourism purposes);

7) Bank Statements (should be translated in English if it is in Chinese);

8) Copy of the roundtrip flight booking or itinerary (Do not purchase the flight ticket before applying for the visa, but make a “booking” or “flight itinerary”. Purchase the flight ticket only after the visa is granted);

9) Copy of the Hotel Booking;

10) Two (2) recent colored photograph sized (1.77” x 1.37”); and

11) Other documentary requirements as may be requested by the Visa Officer upon interview of the applicant and assessment of the application.

Chinese nationals who wish to visit the Philippines FOR TOURISM PURPOSES ONLY may be granted a VISA-ENTRY into the country for an initial authorized stay of seven (7) days which may be extended by an additional fourteen (14) days provided they have valid and current American, Japanese, Australian, Canadian or Schengen visa. NOTE:

East Timorese may apply for a visa only at the Philippine Embassy in Dili.

North Koreans may apply for a visa only from the Philippine Embassy in Beijing which has jurisdiction over them

Kosovars may apply for a visa only from the Philippine Embassy in Budapest except in certain cases:

1. they are permanent residents in a country with which the Philippines has Diplomatic relations;

2. a travel document which entitles, re-entry to the country of residence with such re-entry permit valid for at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay in the Philippines;

3. their country of origin has diplomatic relations with the Philippines; and

4. gainful employment and guarantee by employer that they would not become public charges, or financial independence which would preclude them from becoming public charges.

Azerbaijan nationals may apply for a visa at any Philippine Foreign Service Post. The following are the visa requirements:

1) Duly accomplished and signed visa application form;

2) Original and photocopy of the passport data page and Malaysian visa, if applicable;

3) Malaysian Company letter (for holders of Employment Pass);

4) Malaysian School Certification (for holders of Student Pass);

5) Letter of Invitation from the Philippine Company (for business purposes);

6) Letter of Invitation from the inviting person in the Philippines supported by a copy of the passport or ID with signature of the inviting person, if applicable (for tourism purposes);

7) Bank Statements(should be in English and applicable for tourism purposes only);

NOTE:

Nationals from these countries who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding thirty (30) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay.

For those who wish to stay for more than thirty (30) days, they may apply for extension of stay at the Philippine Bureau of Immigration or they may apply for Philippine visa at any Philippine post abroad.

Nationals from these countries who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding fifty-nine (59) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the contemplated period of stay.

For those who wish to stay for more than fifty-nine (59) days, they may apply for extension of stay at the Philippine Bureau of Immigration or they may apply for Philippine visa at any Philippine post abroad.
