The Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)

WHO WE ARE

The Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Kuala Lumpur is the representative office of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Malaysia. It is an attached agency to the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Malaysia.

Its main mandate is the mutual promotion of trade and investment between the Philippines and Malaysia.

The areas covered by PTIC-Kuala Lumpur include Peninsular Malaysia, Labuan, Sabah, and Sarawak.

WHAT WE DO

TRADE PROMOTION

Trade Philippines

PTIC-Kuala Lumpur promotes Philippine exports to Malaysia through various activities such as participation in trade shows and exhibits, business to business negotiations, networking for Philippine and Malaysian companies (suppliers and buyers respectively), and other related activities.

INVESTMENT PROMOTION

Doing Business in the Philippines

PTIC-Kuala Lumpur offers assistance to Malaysia-based companies that are interested in investing in the Philippines. Similarly, it provides assistance to Philippine companies wanting to do business in Malaysia.

Invest Philippines

It also actively promotes the Philippines as an investment destination through participation in various investment-related events, be it either an organic or an external activity in the Philippines and in Malaysia.

SERVICES TO OVERSEAS FILIPINO INVESTORS

Negosyo Seminar

PTIC-Kuala Lumpur provides assistance to Filipinos in Malaysia through a series of Negosyo Seminars. The objective is to encourage its kababayans living and/or working in Malaysia to invest in the Philippines by providing information about investment opportunities and assistance available to them.
