Comelec Halalan 2016

All registered Filipino voters in Malaysia are encouraged to cast their vote for national positions in the 2016 Elections. These voters include those who registered at this Embassy during the recent registration period conducted from May 6, 2014 to October 31, 2015.

Final testing and sealing of voting machines will be done on April 9 (Saturday), at 9:00 a.m. at this Philippine Embassy. Voting will commence thereafter.

The Embassy will be open for voting until May 9, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily (including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays).

In compliance with COMELEC regulations on automated elections, voters will receive a ballot at the Embassy (not by mail) and personally submit the same to election officers to vote.

Those intending to vote should bring along a Philippine Government-issued ID for proper identification.
